This policy explains what information FindProly collects, why, and how it's used, whether
you're a customer looking for help or a professional offering services through the app.
Information we collect
We collect information directly from you and automatically as you use the app:
- Account information: name, email address, and phone number, collected when you sign in through Firebase Authentication.
- Location information: your postal code or area, used to match customers with nearby professionals and to define a professional's service area.
- Job details: descriptions, photos, and messages you share when posting or quoting on a job.
- Verification documents: for professionals, identity or licensing documents submitted for verification.
- Payment information: handled directly by our payment processors — Stripe in the US and Razorpay in India. FindProly does not store your card or bank account numbers.
- Device and notification data: a push-notification token so we can send you updates about your requests and quotes.
- Usage data: basic app activity, such as pages viewed and actions taken, used to keep the service reliable and improve it.
How we use this information
- To match customers with relevant professionals and professionals with relevant jobs
- To process payments and payouts, and hold funds until a job is confirmed complete
- To send you notifications about quotes, messages, and job status
- To verify professional accounts and help keep the marketplace trustworthy
- To provide customer support and respond to your requests
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unsafe activity
- To improve and maintain the app
Who we share it with
- The other party on a job. A customer and the professional they're working with can see the contact and job details needed to complete that job.
- Payment processors. Stripe and Razorpay process payments and payouts on our behalf and hold your payment details directly.
- Service providers. Infrastructure and communication partners we rely on to run the app, such as Firebase and Google Cloud, and only to the extent needed to provide the service.
- Legal and safety. When required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of FindProly, our users, or the public.
We do not sell your personal information.
Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to meet our
legal, tax, and accounting obligations — for example, transaction records connected to a
completed job are retained for as long as required by applicable law.
Your choices and rights
You can review and update your account details in the app at any time. Depending on where you
live, you may have additional rights over your personal information — including the right to
request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data — under laws such as India's
Digital Personal Data Protection Act or applicable US state privacy laws. To make a request,

Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encryption in
transit and access controls on our systems. No method of transmission or storage is
completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
Children's privacy
FindProly is not intended for anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect information from
children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll let you know
in the app or by email before it takes effect.
